Do I have a right to rescind for buying a condo? I have signed a contract, I haven't seen the property, but there has been no cash transaction as of yet. What are the consequences if I do not pay the earnest money?

Read the document you signed CAREFULLY & THOROUGHLY.

Your rights should be detailed within the document. There may be time sensitive dates for which you need to give notice to the buyers or the contract may be contingent upon you obtaining financing.
