Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois
The seller and I set a closing date for the end of August. When the date came the seller said there were complications with the condo association not releasing the proper records. It has now been two weeks and no one seems to care about the missed deadline. Is there legal action action I can take to get my condo closed?

You should hire counsel to represent you for the transaction. He or she should be able to move it along.

I would bet dollars to donuts that you don't have a lawyer. When lawyers are involved, you can often move things along. Right now, you have probably have incurred additional costs related to your housing, moving expenses, etc. Please don't be foolish; hire a lawyer.
