Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

I sold a house but they didn't put it over in there name now the taxes are past due and the next years is due. can i take the house back since it is still in my name.

If you sold the house you were supposed to give the buyers a deed. Did you? If you didn't the house and taxes are yours. Unfortunately you don't give us enough information to be more helpful, but if they think they bought the house and have enough paperwork, they may be able to force you to give them a deed or their money back. Time to see an attorney to figure this out.
