Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

I am a tenant living in a house that was foreclosed in July 2009. The bank has taken over the property and placed an eviction on my credit report. How do I get that removed from my credit report?

Provided you did not violate the terms of the lease, this should not appear as a derogatory entry on your credit report. The FTC has a good step by step guide on its website to disputing erroneous entries on your credit report.
