Tenant Rights

I currently reside in an apartment complex. The storage units in each building have been on a first come first serve basis. A few days ago I received a notice of a Storage Addendum which states we will now have to pay $10 per locker per month. If we do not return the addendum form within a specified time, they will cut off the locks and dispose of our property. Do they have a legal right to do this?

Depends on what your lease says. Your lease should be reviewed by a competent Real Estate attorney for a definitive answer. The storage area may be an area which is covered by terms of the lease.
