Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

my truck was parked and hit. the person that hit it doesn't have insurance. i would like to sue but my truck is not in my name. what can i do?

Not sure I understand. If the truck is not in your name, it is not your truck. The person who owns the truck would need to sue the individual who damaged it.
