Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois
how to void designated agen contract
Agent did not give buyer a copy of contract upon signing and is not looking for properties according to the intersests of the buyer. How can I void this agreement without having to pay agent commission or waiting the 180 days per contract?

Try calling or better yet, sending a letter to the agent, telling them that you feel they've breached the agreement and Illinois law. Therefore, you're considering the agreement null and void and see what they say to that. They may just agree to let you out of the agreement. A problem may arise if they don't agree and you have difficulty convincing another agent to represent you. Remember, you can't use this as a pretext to avoid paying a commission.
