Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Illinois
EEOC to interview me
I've submitted a charge of sexual harassment to the EEOC against my former employer last January and will be interviewed by the EEOC this week. What questions will they ask me? How detailed should I get? How long will the interview be? I don't want to botch it in any way in case this is the only opportunity to explain to them what happened in detail. Thank you for your time! :)

Re: EEOC to interview me
Without knowing any of the details of your sexual harassment charge, the best advice that I can give to you is to tell the truth. Also, it is generally better to get your full story out now rather than come up with new facts & details at the time of trial, which would raise the question of why this was not disclosed during the EEOC interview.

These are the very questions which an attorney can discuss with you, once the factual background of your charge has been reviewed. Please consider contacting an attorney.
