Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Illinois

I have no money for a lawyer, but I am being harrassed to the point of quitting

I need legal advice, but i can't find anyone who will help me because i have no money. I am constantly being touched and grabbed at work. My co-workers grab my chest and butt and at times even other personal ares. I am also being talked about and to in a very perverse manner. I have told my boss and his exact words were, ''Just tell them to stop.'' My boss won't do anything and he says it's my fault because when i started working at this business i was trying to make friends so i didn't say anything about it. I complain to my managers and they tell my boss and he still doesn't care. I am very close to quitting my job, but i have nowhere else to work. I can't be unemployed. I just want it to stop.

First of all, I am terribly sorry for what you are going through at work, obviously it is unacceptable and illegal. There are a variety of things that you can do even without a lawyer depending on where you live, how large the company you work for is and your personal situation. Nevertheless, I know a variety of attorneys that work on a contingency fee basis that would be willing to help including myself. I do believe that you have options however I would need to speak to you in order to fully explain those to you.
