irs help
jackson hewitt forgot a stock sale on
my taxes. the irs wants $20000 in
back taxes and fees. jh says i only owe
2500. irs denied their paperwork. is jh
responsible? how do i get them to
correct this?

You should get this checked out by another company. H&R Block will do a check of your return very inexpensively (in NJ the cost is $49.) If the return is wrong, you should immediately contact a Tax Attorney to review the return and help you negotiate with the IRS. Your attorney should also contact the Jackson Hewitt office to get them to pay the penalty and interest.
