If i am living in Illinois but am working in Wisconsin, and I am getting paid Wisconsin wages is it right for the company to take out Illinois taxes. Illinois taxes are higher but Wisconsin's minimum wage is lower.

Most companies that employ workers from other states withhold taxes for the employee's home state since you are not a resident of Wisconsin. However, you can ask that they withhold Wisconsin taxes. If that is the case, you will need to file a Wisconsin income tax return for your wages, and an Illinois return for any other income you receive during the year.
