Legal Question in Traffic Law in Illinois

i am 18 year old and don't have a job. I was pull over by carol stream police and they told me i was speeding. This is my first time and also i told them , i am sorry i did not notice that i was speeding. i did not have the copy of my current insurance so he gave me $2000 ticket, which can be forgiven, if i submit the insurance copy stating is valid. He gave me a second ticket of $120, which i don't have money to pay for. i have to appear in court. i really need help.Please help me.

Hire an attorney on the speeding charge and bring evidence that you were insured on the date of the speeding ticket with you. How much sympathy the judge may have will depend on several factors, but the mere fact you are 18 and don't have a job won't help.
