Legal Question in Traffic Law in Illinois
I was arressted for a suspended license & recieved two tickets. 1) for a suspended license and 2) not having insurance.
The reason for having the suspended license is becuase I recieved a ticket for not having insurance and missing my court date a few months back.
I do not have any priors besides this.
What should I prepare for, for the court date I have next month? Do I need a lawyer?

Yes, you should hire an attorney. Look closely at why your license is suspended. If you were originally charged with not having insurance and failed to go to your court date the likely outcome is that a warrant would be issued for your failure to appear, not having your license suspended as that case has not been resolved.
