Legal Question in Traffic Law in Illinois
Automobile accident fault
I was in an accident where the other vehicle ran a light while I was taking a left turn. At the scene, the other driver admitted fault (a. said he ''shouldn't have gone,'' b. didn't want to involve police, c. didn't volunteer his insurance info), but his insurance is putting the blame on me. I only have liability insurance, how should I go about collecting for damages?

Re: Automobile accident fault
File a lawsuit. If the other driver said those things at the accident, they are admissible in court (though he may deny them at this point). If you have substantial damages, it is worth hiring an attorney to help.
