Legal Question in Traffic Law in Illinois
I borrowed a friend my truck for a couple of hours found out individuals pulled over 8 hrs later for DUI suspended license. my vehicles now in in the impound and they are charging me 3000 dollars in fines I need to go see thtoe hearing judg e is there a chance he will re movies fine since I was in the vehicle in custody my friend is now in custody in the county jail

The towing and impound fees should NOT be waived. Had you sought to retrieve the vehicle the next day, the charges would have been a few hundred dollars. You could have paid it AND had the use of your truck. YOU chose to allow the fees to accrue.
Of course you have an action against your friend for the initial towing and impound fees. That said, you ALWAYS have a duty to mitigate any loss. You did nothing. I do not believe the fees will be reduced or waived unless they exceed the maximum amount permitted by local rule.
