Legal Question in Traffic Law in Illinois
car accident
my daughter was involved in a car accident with no personal injury.
she was ticketed for failure to yield.
she was also driving her fathers truck and it was sooned discovered that insurance had lapsed at the time of the accident.
the other person in t he accident is sueing for damage to his vehicle they tried to go after the father but he has filed bankruptcy.
Can they go after the driver?
even though she didnt know at the time there was no insurance on the vehicle?
