DL Suspension

Is there any way to resolve 2 tickets I recieved 10 years ago for speeding and no insurance, in the state of Illinois. I live here in CO. And I dont' want to travel to Illinois to Appear. My CO DL is currently suspended For not appearing in court 10 years ago.

Re: DL Suspension

I don't see how Colorado could suspend you for not appearing for a traffic violation that occurred 10 years ago, unless it was for a major infraction. On the other hand, anything is possible.

In what county were these Illinois tickets pending??

Re: DL Suspension

It may be possible to resolve this situation without your appearance in Illinois. It is possible to find out the status of these tickets and determine what happened in court with them. It is likely the judge imposed some type of ex parte judgement and fine. They can be disposed of either by satisfying the fines that were imposed ten years ago, or perhaps by bringing them into a court room, and since they are minor tickets this can be done without your presence by way of an affidavit. To discuss this matter you can call us at 630-257-8280. Good luck.
