Legal Question in Traffic Law in Illinois

Driving whil revoked.

My license has been suspended for moving violations, after which I have been pulled over several times resulting in my license being revoked, and then having two driving while revoked tickets (DuPage County). At the advice of my attorney at the time, I pleaded guilty to all charges. At my last court date, the judgement against me was 30 days of community service. I did not fulfill my obligations which resulted in the reopening of my case, and I now have to appear back in court. My question is this, what chance do I have of seeing actual jail time for this? For some reason, I cannot get a straight answer from the attornies I've spoken to about my case. I understand that one possibility is court supervision, what is that exactly? Would I be able to have any driving privilages during the course of supervision? Thank you in advance.

Re: Driving while revoked.

Based upon the history you have given, you do not appear eligible for court supervision, which is a way to end a case without a conviction on your record. The status of your case appears to be one under which you have a pending petition to revoke either a supervision or a conditional discharge. In either event, the Court in DuPage County takes these charges very seriously, and you could be facing up to 364 days in the county jail. It is very important for you to seek counsel.
