The sentence is up to the court. Usually your lawyer and the State's Attorney will discuss and agree on a sentence before you plead guilty, if you decide to plead guilty. It is not clear from your question, if you are 27 years old or if you have a DUI from 27 years ago and your license is still revoked/suspended.
Re: dui penilty
If your license was revoked for a DUI 27 years ago, and you were caught driving, yes, there is mandatory jail time. Please call for a free consultation.

Re: dui penilty
Driving on a revoked license is at least a Class A misdemeanor, (in some situations it may be a felony with possible prison time)It is a criminal offense, with possible penalties of up to 364 days in jail and fines of up to $2,500. If charged as a felony, there may be 3 years in prison and fines of up to $25,000. If revoked for a DUI there is a mandatory minimum of 10 days in jail or 30 days of community service upon conviction. It is a serious matter, however if the conviction is 27 years old there is a chance for court supervision which would not involve jail time. You should have a lawyer to protect both your rights and your freedom.
