Legal Question in Traffic Law in Illinois
Dwls
I was wondering if you are charged with driving while your license is suspended in Illinois due to a financial suspension, is it mandatory to have to lose your license or are there other options, or is losing your license even an option?

The loss of your license is not mandatory in the situation you describe. There are many things that may be done to allow you to drive legally. There are different kinds of financial suspensions requiring different types of actions. Depending on the county, this can be simple, or seriously complicated. I would recommend that you spend a few bucks, and hire a lawyer near the place where you have to go to court. Good Luck.
