Legal Question in Traffic Law in Illinois
Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident
Dear Sir or Madam,
I was out of control and hit a tree in my neighborhood. I was cited with a ticket for this. I could have endangered someone including myself. Thankfully I am ok. I have an average driving record, with a few tickets the past 3 years. However the policeman did not state the speed I was going. Does this mean that I automatically will get this ticket dismissed?
