Legal Question in Traffic Law in Illinois
Failure to reduce speed - not guilty plea
In Kendall County...what happens if I plead ''not guilty'' to a ticket for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident (1) if the driver (the witness) of the car that I hit is present, and (2) if the driver isn't present in the courtroom. What are the repercussions of doing so? Thanks so much for any information/advice!
