Legal Question in Traffic Law in Illinois
No front license plate
I received a parking ticket for ''No Front Resgistration'' Section: 51-63.25
I can't find any thing on the web about this statute. In Illinois we only put
a sticker on the back plate, so I don't know why they care about the front.
Is this ticket valid? can anyone send me the code/statute?
Thanks

Re: No front license plate
It is possible that you received an Ordinance Violation ticket; in which case, you could go the the public library in the municipality in which the ticket was issed and look up the provision in the Ordinance book. It is difficult to tell what the alleged violation is without looking at the ticket, as the design of the same varies a bit from place to place.
