Legal Question in Traffic Law in Illinois
My husband was in an accident in December of 2008 in Illinois and at that time realized his insurance had lapsed. His ticket for the accident was dropped and he was given court supervision and later made to get the sr 22 insurance. He has complied with both but is now not able to get a job as a mechanic (at a dealership) because they are unable to insure him. Is there anything that can be done?

the first step would be to deterine in writing why he cannot be insured. One accident should not be an issue.
