Legal Question in Traffic Law in Illinois
Not involved in a accident and haven't so good insurance
One afternoon I was outside in my detached garaged when I was given an alias summons stating that I was involved in an accident a year ago and that I needed to respond back. I did, and I spoke with the plaintiff's attorney and he stated that I needed to let my insurance company know what was happening. I have very bogus insurance, I found out, and I don't think that the outside counsel is really doing much to prove I was not involved in the accident and would like to know if I have any other alternatives. It is clear that this plantiff is trying to make some serious money and is claiming things that my car could not possibly do. Please help. Thank you.

Go to another attorney; have that individual make a demand on your automobile insurer to defend you. Good Luck.
