Legal Question in Traffic Law in Illinois
Legal Driving Age
Has Illinois changed their legal age to drive an automobile fromm 16. I was told they have it in place to change in approx. 4 years. Please let me know what is going on, or are they just working on switching this.

One can still get a license at sixteen in Illinois, however, it cannot be done without the successful completion of an accredited driver's education class, either through the high school or a program accredited by the state.
