Legal Question in Traffic Law in Illinois
is it legal for police to issue a ticket for no village sticker while the car is parked on private property and then immobilize that car for non payment of ticket while that car is on private property? I don't believe they have jurisdiction.

I'd bet that the car was in an apartment building or condo parking lot. they have agreements with the police & villages. Good Luck.
