Legal Question in Traffic Law in Illinois
i was not physically driving but i was in the same parking lot as my car and i was approached by a cop because i was from out of town and he asked for id and i gave him my license and he asked how i got there and i said i drove and he said that my license was suspended... my insurance company was suppose to send an sr-22 form to the secretary of state of illinois but they misinformed me about how they send it. i was told that it takes 24 hours for the state to recieve it which my license would not have been suspended. i later found out from the state and my insurance company that they mail only which takes longer... so now i was arested for that.. what do i do?

I think that your case will be "tossed" when you get to court. You may need an attorney as these things can get complicated. Good Luck!
