Can a police officer park in a private citizens driveway for the purpose of catc
I was driving my car and rolled thru a stop sign. There was a cop parked in somebody's driveway. He was parked there trying to catch traffic violators. Can he do this.

Hello. Yes, a police officer can sit in a
hidden spot and wait for a driver to run a light.
This does not violate the driver's constitutional
rights. By law, driving is a privilege and not
a right. I will be happy to answer any additional questions you might have.
