Legal Question in Traffic Law in Illinois
I was pulled over by cops for backing up more than 50 yards in the street(which is not true) but they didn't give me a ticket for that instead gave me a no insurance ticket. what's my defense?

You had insurance on the date they ticketed you. If you failed to have evidence of insurance with you at the time, you could still be "convicted" even if you show up with the evidence in hand at court, or the court could still assess court costs and a nominal fine.
