Questions about repossesion of just a frame

We have a newer truck that is being repossesed because my husband and I have both gotten hurt at work and we can't make the payments. We are so hard up for money that we thought about selling some of the parts off of the truck to make some money to catch up on our other bills that are more important. Is there a law against this or will we just have to pay more since they won't be able to sell the truck for very much? Please e-mail me your response. Thanks!

I don't think you should take parts off the truck; that would amount to theft. I WOULD RECOMMEND THAT YOU SEE A COMPETENT BANKRUPTCY LAWYER IMMEDIATELY!!
