Legal Question in Traffic Law in Illinois

I received a ticket for not moving to another lane for a stopped car. I could not move because there was another car in my way and I would have hit the car, but I got a ticket anyway. What should I do and will I have my driving privelges taken away. I have not had a ticket in over 20 years

You have the right to appear in court on the hearing date and explain what happened. Not knowing the factual situation (there's more involved here) nobody can tell you exactly what your options are. You can read the rules of the road about what you were supposed to do, or you can hire an attorney to be present with you. You'll pay the attorney but might be able to get off. If the officer doesn't show it could also be dismissed, OR continued and you might have to come back. Not having a ticket in 20 years sounds like it's a matter of principle to you. Up to you. But in Illinois typically unless there's something else going on, no you shouldn't lose your driving privileges - it usually takes 3 moving violations if there are no accidents or injuries....but you might get "probation" or if there are aggravating factors suspension. Again w/o all the facts and without seeing the ticket too, it's hard to say if there was just ONE charge, or more.....
