Legal Question in Traffic Law in Illinois

So I got a speeding ticket in Dupage county, and I did not have insurance, so they gave to me for both. I have insurance that time so it is no big deal for that one. But the officer misplaced everything and gave the ticket in my dads name but he put my date of birth. Can I use this excuse to get the ticket drop. I want to drop the ticket and is there anything else I can do. Please help me , I am student who is unemployed. Please help me. I don't have any money to pay for this ticket. And also my dad is disabled as well. He has not drive the car for a while

I have consulted with many people about tickets in Dupage County, and the good news is that you may be eligible for supervision and avoid a conviction. The bad news is that you will need to personally appear in Court or have a local attorney appear in Court for you. The errors made by the officer will not require the dismissal of the tickets. I would strongly advise you to contact and hire a local attorney.
