Legal Question in Traffic Law in Illinois
Speeding Ticket
I received a speeding ticket recently from the illinois state police. Ten months ago I got a ticket for an illegal left turn from a small Ill. town. I paid the fine and went to traffic school, with the understanding that my record would be clean after 4 months. I would like to send in the money and get court supervision for the speeding ticket. My question is, will the previous ticket affect my ability to do this, since it was less than a year ago?

Re: Speeding Ticket
The previous ticket will not have an effect on the current one. You are allowed 2 supervions in one year. If you just send the fine in, you most likely will get a conviction. You must be present to get supervision.
