Legal Question in Traffic Law in Illinois
Speeding in a Work Zone
I was given a speeding ticket for doing 50mph in a 35mph work zone. There was a sign posted but the work has been completed. There were no trucks or orange cones on the road that they have been working on for months. I feel the work zone sign should have been taken down since the road work is completed. Also, there were about six other cars receiving the same ticket at the time I was pulled over.

Sounds like you have a defense. Where do you have to go to court? I believe that you should fight this ticket. What was the "regular" speed limit??
