Legal Question in Traffic Law in Illinois
Ticket while under court supervision
My 19 year old son received a ticket while under court supervision. He received notice from an attorney that his supervision has now been revoked. He had a ticket earlier this year, and had gotten court supervision, which he completed successfully. Is he in danger of a license suspension? What should he do?

Re: Ticket while under court supervision
If you are under 21, 2 CONVICTIONS will get your DL suspended. I am wondering how he got notice that the first ticket supervision got turned into a conviction...did your son get a notice of a PTR (Petition to Revoke)? You need legal counsel, and should hire one that practices in the county in which the tickets were issued.
Re: Ticket while under court supervision
He is in danger of losing his driving privileges. If you are under 21 and receive 2 convictions within a 24 month period you will have your license suspended. If his supervision was revoked, it has become a conviction, and along with the new ticket that will be enough to suspend him. If you wish to talk in detail about this issue, you can call me at 708-301-2000 or 630-257-8280. He should have counsel before going to court on this current ticket.
