Ticket Was Supposed To Be dropped
I had received a ticket in a car accident for improper lane usage, while filling out the accident report, the officer told me that if the girl that I hit didn't show up to court that my ticket would be dropped. Well today was court date, and the girl that I hit did show up, because she thought she had to come. We told her she didn't have to come and so she left. The cop that gave me the ticket at the police station without ever coming to the accident, was at the court and went and talked to the prosecutor. And when I was called up to the judge, they switched it around that I was getting a ticket for a ticket, it wasn't for the accident and it would not be dropped. So I want to know if I was screwed.
