Legal Question in Traffic Law in Illinois
traffic ticket
My son received a ticket for following too close to the vehicle in front of him on a major highway. The State Police officer was behind him my sone drives a Ford Explorer so I have a hard time beleiving that the officer could see through the vehicle and tell if he was at least 2 seconds behind that vehicle. What do you think can this be beaten in court???

Re: traffic ticket
How do you know what the officer was able to see? If that is your strategy, you will lose. If that is all you have, your son should plead guilty for supervision and a fine.
