re: assets of an estate

father died in illinois no will. wife preceded him in death. four children are the benneficiaries. three children are in agrement and have hired a lawyer and two of the three are apointed co-administrators with court supervision. fourth child has hired his own lawyer and has all assets in is possession. he says he knows nothing about assets and says everything of the estate is his and has and is selling off little by little the assets. we are in probate court. if the fourth child dosen`t agree with the other three about divding the assets equaly amoung the four children, will the assets have to be auction or sold off , just because the fourth child does not agree?
