my aunt is about to enter a nursing home.she has a personal checking account. can she give me the money in her account before she enters?

If your aunt has mental soundness to make her decisions and does not have
a guardian appointed for such decisions, she can make that or other decisions.
It is a general question to which any specific advice would depend on other
factors. If the transfer of funds is related to application for medicaid benefits
or other reasons, the amount and nature of the transfer would be relevant.
