Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Illinois

Estate Executor

Our father died in 2003. Shortly after, The Executor (who was on father's Cash account with him, because she was Executor, and another beneficiary (who has control of dad's stock account for us) exchanged shares of each account. Another beneficiary receivd their share of the cash account in mid 2007. I have asked for my share, and no response. The Executor works for the Court(?) in this matter, is this a criminal or civil matter since the will has not been carried out in my case?

Re: Estate Executor

It is a civil matter. If you have problems with the executor or issues in the estate, they can be brought before the probate court to be heard by the judge.
