executor is corrupt

my sister is executor, and locking me out. she is going thru my dads stuff and taking first pick and not giving me a look. she letting the 2 cars being driving by my other brothers. shredding paperwork of loans her and my brothers owe, about 125,000. many other one sided decisions, with conflict of interest. now she and the lawyer wants me and my bros to sign a paper saying my corrupt sister is independent executor.they gladly signed. do i have to sign it? i want her court supervised.i would like to see past bank statements and credit card statements because my dad said they would pay it back! but paperwork in house is gone! i dont want to contest the will cause i would get only 1 doller. do i need a lawyer or is there some heir rights? i dont want to sign this paper giving her unsupervised desisions. do i have to??

Do Not sign any paperwork you do not agree to. You can request supervised administration.

It sounds like you need a complete accounting, as well as having a third party to administer the estate.

Requesting that an estate be supervised is not the same thing as contesting the will, it is simply asking the court to oversee the actions of the executor when there is a contentious situation.

I would suggest that you consult with a probate attorney to review your rights. Although you can represent yourself before the court, it is easier to do so with the assistance of someone who knows the law.

Be sure that the attorney you speak with is experienced in probate!
