A Family Death Has occured And theres No Will.

my father has died and there is no will. we need to find out what to do.there was no property owned just bank assests..do i need to get an executor of an estate form and how do i get that?

The size of your Father's estate will dictate what has to be done. If the total amount of the bank accounts is 100,000 or less and they are located in Illinois you may be able to use a small estate affidvit to collect the funds. In any event you will need a lawyer to help you. Find a lawyer and discuss the matter with him/her. There my be other alternatives a well.
