Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Illinois

My father died in Dec and left three buildings, a boat, a car and other items in a trust for his 4 children. Being one of his children I have not been able to take anything I want from the garage or house, because my oldest sister is the \"executor\" or \"trustee\" of the trust. Do I have any right to keys for the buildings and garages?

You certainly have rights as a trust beneficiary and the your sister, as trustee, has fiduciary duties to you and the other beneficiaries. Your specific rights depends on the terms of the trust and the asset situation, but generally if the personal effects are to be divided equally, the trustee should be arranging for the personal effects to be valued and/or divided among you.
