Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Illinois
My father died [ supposedly] in 1999 in missouri, I was not aware of his passing until recently, still waiting on copy of death certificate. My father told me and my wife in 1976 that he had a will and that his kids would get half of the estate, and his spouces kids would get the other half of his estate. His spouce has not filed his will , and has now started to dispence the estate to her children only. There has not been a probate of the estate... Is there anything I can do to get my inheritence And no, she will not let me see the will.

You would need to contact an attorney in the state where your father lived at the time of his death, someone who practices in the same county where your father lived..
