Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Illinois

Father's Personal Property

I was named sole beneficary to my father's estate. My Stepmother performed a ''renunciation'' of said will and has hired her own attorney.

My question is regards to his personal property. The only things we requested were items left to him and him alone by my wife's Great Aunt and her fathers parents. Stepmother is claiming 1/3 of items under her renunciation. Is this true.

How would personal property be split that was acquired during 2nd marriage.

who about personal property acquired during marriage to first wife( my wifes mother)?

any help would be appreciated!
