After I fill out a Small estate affidavit where and how do I take it and make it legal

You sign the completed form (attaching a certified copy of the death certificate, and if applicable, a copy of the will) and present it to the party holding assets you wish to transfer to beneficiaries. Under Illinois law the form need not be notarized, but some third parties will require notarization anyway.
