Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Illinois

Great grandmothers estate

My great-grandmother passed away almost 5 years ago. She was my father's grandmother. I haven't talked with my father (or his parents, the executors) in 10 years and my great-grandmother understood why and it did not interfere with our relationship. She confided in me that her great-grandchildren would receive the same from her estate. My siblings received bequest and I did not. Do I have a right to contact her attorney to request a copy of her trust estate? She refers to a ''trust agreement'' in her will, but does not mention names.

thank you.

Re: Great grandmothers estate

Her will is public, but trusts can be private, so do not be surprised, if her attorney cannot share that info with you.
