Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Illinois

I have my home financed with quite an amount of equity, if i add my adult daughter to the title of the house and were to get married later who would the house belong to and the equity if i were to die.

If the house was placed into joint tenancy with your daughter, then the house would belong to her upon your death.

If it was placed into tenancy in common (each person owns half), then she would continue to own her half after your death, and your half would pass to your beneficiaries under your will.
