If the letters of Office, issued by an Illinois Probate Court make reference to specific estate property which is located in another jurisdiction, the said letters of Office may be used to gain access to such property. The petition to the court requesting such letters of Office should detail the assets, responsibilities for administering the estate, and other key information.
